M2 offers visiting, new to the area and local artists an environment advantageous to their needs. M2 works as a catalyst, for artists to test public reaction to and for gathering information on the community’s wants and needs. M2 wishes to benefit the public by presenting traditional and nontraditional art in a non-aggressive manner allowing individuals a chance to fully experience the works being presented. By advancing towards these goals M2 believes both the artists and the community benefit mutually by expanding creativity and understanding together.

M2 goes above and beyond the standard art gallery- always putting on a great show. Without a doubt, the gallery owner’s passion for the arts is the underlying reason every event at this gallery is a unique and exciting experience. The diversity of artist in M2 Gallery is amazing. From your local artist to the internation artist you get it all at M2 Gallery. This November the Norwegian Council is having a show…look on their web page for details and dates. The opening partys are so much fun and it is getting to be the “Place to be Seen”. Two Star Symphony has played there at many openings including jazz and blues bands for Huey Long’s 102nd Birthday Party. I’vd been to a fashion shows,an adult puppet show ,a belly dancer performance, a retro living space with different time peroids, a movie review, and so many more creative artist events. There are a couple of openings a month so you should check out their web page for announcements. Or go by there and add your name to their mailing list. M2 is a great place to take out of town guests because you never know what you will find. Artists in different stages of their careers show work there. I have been to the receptions at M2 and you will be amazed at who attends. Tons of fun. (2006-07-13 09:22:29) |
