Treebeards @ Market Square

315 Travis St. | (713) 228-2622 | Website | Map

Treebeards has expanded over the years and now operate 3 restaurants in downtown Houston. Since 1978 Treebeards has been cooking fresh Southern food for hungry downtown Houstonians. With some of the most unique locations in Houston, they make an effort to promote their character and charm. For lunch at any location with your friends and family, you can’t find a more satisfying meal served in a comfortable atmosphere.

In addition to the Market Square location, Treebeards also serves lunch 2 other locations: in Christ Church Cathedral’s restaurant— The Cloister, and in downtown Houston’s tunnel system, under 1100 Louisiana. A desire for something simpler sparked a take-off on the Treebeards concept, and Treebeards Take-Away opened in September of 1996 in the tunnel system at 700 Rusk. This concept was designed to serve a limited menu of Treebeards’ favorites for take-out only.

Feeding Houstonians good food for more than twenty years!
