The Orange Show Center for Visionary Art preserves works of extraordinary imagination and celebrates the artist in everyone. The Center preserves, promotes and documents visionary art environments, provides opportunities for the expression of personal artistic vision and creates a community where that expression is valued
The Center preserves two internationally recognized folk art sites: The Orange Show, a fantastic concrete, mosaic tile and found-object structure in the East End, and the Beer Can House, a handmade environment near Memorial Park.
Our programs celebrate raw imagination, creativity, free expression and include: Ev1.net Art Car Weekend featuring Everyones Art Car Parade, the oldest and largest art car parade in the world. Award-winning Eyeopener Tours that take thousands each year to visit the hidden treasures of our community and beyond, and art education programs that give children and adults hands-on opportunities to learn creative thinking, problem solving skills and the deep satisfaction of personal expression.
