“t’afia” comes from the creole word “ratafia,” which is a fortified wine made with seasonal produce. The word “t’afia is also used as a toast and has two meanings: “To your health” and “The deal is done”.
t’afia is the newest restaurant from Chef Monica Pope— one of the top chefs in the region and in the country.
After 10 years at her Montrose institution, Boulevard Bistrot, Chef Pope embarks on a new endavor, featuring: a 16 table dining room; a bar/lounge that seats 40; and a private covered garden area.
