I love Spotts park. We temporarily live in the apts nearby and so I take my children there literally every day. What kills me are the dog owners who KNOW the ordinances require them to pick up after their dogs but don’t do it (even when they know other people can see them blatantly ignoring the rules). Still, this park is such a gift. I just don;t allow my kids to run in the grass.. (2007-11-10 17:15:25) |

it will be a good idea to fence around Memorial so our mutts will not cross the street and get hit by a car. There is only one Drinking Fountain available, it could be a good idea to put 3 or 4 more fountains.Benches and trash receptacles in different areas are needed (2007-10-31 08:56:23) |

This is our favorite park because of its location and human- and mutt-friendly features. We can do a hill or sand sprint workout while letting our mutt frolic around without fear of her getting hit by a car (she’s not very bright in that respect). One plea to all the dog owners though: clean up after your dog! Let’s not turn this park into another “minefield” like that stretch along Allen Parkway. (2005-02-11 09:11:36) |
